I the work people do, design and prototype the software around it, and find out what AI systems can do once both are explicit. Sometimes the model is of a domain: its concepts, tasks, and user needs. Sometimes it's design practice itself: the patterns and judgement behind how I work.

Most recently, I worked on industrial sales automation at Tacton. Before that, I was at Kuehne+Nagel, where I designed everyday workflow tools for employees.

As an individual contributor, I'm . That's conceptual modelling, uncovering user needs, exploring directions, and turning strategy into concrete design. I work by making — prototypes and quick experiments. As a team collaborator, I shape . That means fitting design work into the development cycle, building design systems and reusable patterns, and making reflection and critique part of everyday work. AI cuts across both — as a reshaping how I research, prototype, and synthesise, and as a reshaping what software can fundamentally do for users.

Pattern playground — A personal design-system-adjacent playground for developing the longer-term ideas.

The whole graph, zoomed out: coloured pattern dots and hollow ones, drawn as a single loose cloud of overlapping links
Zoomed in on Suggestion, with the rest of the graph faded behind it: Autofill, Delegation, Prompt, Next-best action and a dozen other neighbours named
Zoomed in on Saving, the rest faded the same way, and a smaller neighbourhood: Undo, Form, Deletion, Action consequences, Editing in place, Draft and publish

Making light work — Designing a management system for large-scale outdoor lighting networks.

Lighting map at city scale, districts labelled with luminaire counts
Last quarter's energy report: consumption, economy and hours worked as totals, then the same figures per area
Street level: numbered luminaires along a road, one selected and one flagged with a fault
A device panel: a high-priority ticket for lost communication, and the profile the device inherits from its area
